| I think the reason episode two of Ace Attorney seems better than the first is because there isn't a trial in the episode. I get the feeling we'll be back to the same gamey stuff next episode. At least the case has been built up a bit, though. |

| I have to say even Sousei no Onmyoji surprised me positively too. Reminds me a bit of my old guilty pleasure Shakugan no Shana. Except that the male lead isn't emo but rather a fiery tempered shounen protag This should work as a slightly shlocky but tried and true battle anime (+ romcom?). I'm a big fan of this kind of "fantasy action vs all kinds of creatures in an alternate dimension-space" shit One thing worth mentioning about it is that it has some very pretty animation coming from Studio Pierrot. Especially since it's 4 cour. Usually 4 cour anime look like shit. I'll make some gifs from this ep~ it looked that nice |
